Radical Arm

The Radical Arm is a versatile remote arm system built for dynamic tracking shots, precision camera movement and high-speed vehicle work. It is well suited to the kind of productions that often use Russian Arm or U-Crane systems for car commercials, action sequences and other demanding tracking work.

The arm features active gyro stabilization and adjustable passive Z-axis dampening to isolate the head and camera package during tracking work. The system is IP65 rated, and we normally pair it with our Titan LT for high-speed work, while also offering Flighthead Mini, Falcon and Colibri when the production calls for a different setup.

It can be mounted to cars, trucks, UTVs and boats using TÜV-certified 2” Speed Rail clamps. Our suction Speed Rail kit can also be used to create a temporary mounting grid on rental vehicles when needed.

We typically pair the Radical Arm with a Mercedes ML55 for road work and a Polaris RZR for off-road terrain or snow, giving productions a flexible camera car system across different environments.
