Black Arm

The Black Arm is a vehicle-mounted dampening system for gimbals, designed to absorb vertical shocks and reduce X/Y movement during tracking shots. Mounted via 2” Speed Rail, it is ideal for camera cars and other moving platforms where rough roads, uneven terrain or speed would otherwise compromise image stability.

It is especially useful for car tracking shots, marine work and other demanding vehicle applications where the camera support platform is moving over uneven surfaces. We supply the system with the Flowcine Tranquilizer isolator and suitable extension blocks for larger gimbals when required.
