For Pensjonskuppet, we worked closely with the production team to capture dynamic, high-speed tracking shots for the film’s chase sequences. Getting close to the driving action while maintaining steady, cinematic camera movements required a fast, highly responsive pursuit setup.
Using the Black Arm paired with the Ronin 2 and our custom built Mercedes ML, we gave the DP complete control over rapid reframing and low-angle tracking on the move. This allowed us to smoothly transition from high-speed wide shots to tight close-ups on the lead vehicles in continuous takes.
Urban Tracking and Logistics
Executing driving shots in open urban streets meant working within tight safety boundaries. Our team ran a streamlined workflow to ensure rapid repositioning between takes and minimal setup delays.
With wireless monitoring inside the chase vehicle, the director and DP could fine-tune every shot on the fly. The quick setup and tear-down capability of the rig kept the production moving fast, securing all required shots without cutting into the shooting schedule.
