Precision Aerials for "Never Stop Ascending"
We collaborated with Anti and Midea to provide high-end technical support for this commercial. Working closely under the direction of the project's Director of Photography, our role was to provide the specialized tools and operating expertise needed to bring their specific visual vision to life across both air and ground.
To achieve the DP's desired look, we deployed the Freefly Alta X heavy-lift drone paired with the DJI Ronin 2 gimbal. This combination provided a stable, cinema-grade platform capable of carrying the primary camera package at high altitudes while maintaining the precision required for tight commercial framing.
Integrated Gimbal Workflow: From Sky to Ground
The efficiency of the shoot relied on the versatility of the DJI Ronin 2. By utilizing this system as the primary gimbal for both the Alta X aerials and the handheld ground sequences, we ensured a seamless visual consistency throughout the production.
To maintain this continuity, we provided a dedicated camera operator who managed the system in both configurations. This allowed for rapid transitions between flight and handheld work, ensuring that the DP’s framing remained stable and consistent across every setup. This integrated approach helped keep the production moving efficiently without compromising the high-stakes aesthetic of the final film.
